Life Update-to Cali and Back

Yes, we moved to California at the beginning of February…and then moved back to Washington 6 weeks later. Its embarrassing for sure, but it’s our life, not yours :) love yooou

I can’t say much about any job details because NDA’s, but Ben got a job in Palo Alto and we decided to move. The money offered was too much to decline...and I had been idolizing living in California my whole life. We sold our home (I miss it so much!) and moved down. Every single step of the way, it was clear we shouldn’t be there. I have to keep our reasons to bail vague….sorry-I don’t mess with NDA’s. I will warn you, however, that California-specifically the Bay Area (Palo Alto), has a super colony of ants. The ants don’t mess around.

We moved back Easter weekend on faith and a prayer. Right away Ben was able to land an opportunity (or 6) and hopefully I have one on the way. I am grateful for the experience cause it made me realize a LOT and most importantly, that the Pacific Northwest is and always will be HOME. We are so glad to be back and so are the dogs. That’s all!
