Update

Hi, Internet. I feel like it has been ages since I last wrote and also feel like I am writing this as a completely different person than I was before. 2020/2021 completely reset my life and priorities; I realized that I don’t really socialize or connect with others, and with the last 6 months of my 30s, I want to change that via this avenue.

All I want to do in life is inspire you to make the positive changes you dream about making for yourself. I met with my mother the other day and she said that as she reflected on the person I used to be growing up, she would have never pictured me waking up at 5am and working out for two hours, working full time for one of the most groundbreaking companies of our generation, and then starting my own LLC.

I had no one motivate me to get here except Jesus and my husband; however, I don’t feel like I am “here”. Last month, I didn’t even want to live. Sometimes I feel like everyone hates me and wants me to fail. I feel like everyone sees how ugly I truly feel inside and I curl up in my bed and hide.

That was heavy, but I am grateful for the recent focus on mental health in the media-it felt me compelled to open up because I don’t think I am the only one who feels like they aren’t good enough. You see, I want this blog to be like my journal but also a way to open up my heart for the World to connect with. I want to share personal stories and my health and beauty tips. I want to share with you the health and beauty products that I’ve found helpful over my almost 40 years of life.

So this is me starting over with this website. It has two names; glamnorthwest.com and courtneyhulet.com. It has a commerce page where I will be posting my favorite products for you to purchase, straight from here. I will also be sharing my favorite Advocare products and including a link to their site to purchase the products directly from me on their site. I also still get sent products to review that you can purchase at other stores; I will write about them here as well. If random topics pop up that make me want to write about them, they will also be on this site.
